Assist the Country Manager Director (CMD) in maintaining day-to-day expertise and optimized support in the areas of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE). Provide leadership for a cluster of countries to embed safety culture. In parallel, establish and maintain quality culture to exceed customer expectations. Develop and maintain Accelleron Integrated Management System in line with Accelleron Group/Division/BU guidance.

Main Accountabilities for Italy area (Italy, Malta and Bulgaria)

Your Responsibilities

  • Governance & Organization: Contribute to maintain QHSE shared services within a cluster of countries, deliver and deploy training, audit and Group-wide performance improvement programs, ensure full adherence to QHSE Global Integrated Management System. Support local business with QHSE policies, regulations and processes, lead the local management team to apply an operational approach and system of process management that is continually evaluated for effectiveness.
  • Metrics: Consolidates QHSE Key Indicators, reports and elaborate QHSE analysis which can drive and support management team to identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Contribute to ensure that all constituent countries operate in compliance with standards and respective legal obligations.
  • Risk Management: Contributes to effective risk evaluation and management of QHSE issues by providing specialist knowledge and advice the management team. Support incident and process deviation management and investigation.
  • Communication & Engagement: Cooperates across functions and with business partners to raise awareness and drive performance, engages with internal and external stakeholders to build commitment and enforce QHSE culture.
  • Operational Support: Drive behavioral change to continuously improve performance through coordinated Group-wide programs and initiatives. Supports the sharing of best practices and apply Group standardized processes to deliver consistent support within the respective organization.
  • Project management: Contribute, plan and execute projects. Develop and report project objectives. Manage project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors.
  • People leadership and development: Ensures the area of responsibility is appropriately organized, staffed, skilled directed. Guide, motivate and develop direct/indirect subordinates within activities cooperation within respective organization.
  • Quality Assurance: work with local management teams to prevent non-conformities and avoid problems when delivering solutions or services to customers, provide confidence that Accelleron and customer quality requirements will be fulfilled, focus on issue prevention rather than control, establish customer and stakeholder needs/expectations, drive utilization of process management across the area minimizing variation and maximizing efficiencies.
  • Quality Control: Ensure effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements. Validate control plans and verify they are effective in mitigating risks.
  • Voice of the Customer: Ensure the Voice of the Customer is represented within the local business. Enable and coach all employees to evaluate problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder
  • Quality Compliance: perform audits and elaborate quality data from all of the operation to identify risks, failures and non-conformances trends within local business, its suppliers, and customers. Ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed for closure.

Your Background

  • Previous experience as HSE and Quality responsible
  • Previous experience as RSPP ("Responsabile Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione) as per Italian Law
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced knowledge of English language
  • Problem solving, Strong leadership and Team working skills
  • Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent would be ideal
