Arduino is seeking an AI Product Manager to shape the future of our AI product ecosystem, spanning Edge AI‑enabled hardware, developer tools, and end‑to‑end workflows that make it simple to build and deploy intelligent applications.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, software, cloud, and business teams to define and deliver AI products that matter. You’ll drive the entire lifecycle—from early investigation and concept validation to launch and continuous improvement—with a strong focus on user needs, technical feasibility, and meaningful impact.
This position can be based at our operational headquarters in Turin or remotely within Italy.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.

Shape the Vision
- Define and manage the roadmap for Arduino’s AI and Edge AI product portfolio across Education, Maker, Professional, and Industrial segments
- Identify new AI opportunities through research, user insights, and competitive analysis—including GenAI‑assisted experiences and on‑device intelligence
- Translate complex AI technologies (LLMs/LVMs/MLLMs, CNN/RNN/LSTM/U‑Net) into accessible, impactful product strategies aligned with Arduino’s mission
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements for Edge AI products, optimizing model deployment, inference speed, memory footprint, and power usage
- Partner with silicon and hardware teams on acceleration, compute architecture, and performance constraints
- Help drive a heterogeneous computing strategy by aligning runtime, compilers/toolchains, and hardware capabilities for real‑world applications (vision, audio, sensor fusion, etc.)
- Work closely with the Product Experience team to deliver high‑quality documentation and developer resources: examples, tutorials, benchmarking kits, and troubleshooting guides
- Shape the evolution of AI‑powered developer tools such as code‑generation assistants, model‑suggestion systems, and automated workflow builders
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and community teams to develop clear messaging, training materials, and engaging content
- Contribute to positioning and pricing strategies for AI‑focused products
- Align cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth, coordinated launches across engineering, content, operations, and partnerships
- Track product performance through customer feedback, usage data, and business KPIs
- Anticipate market trends and adjust the roadmap to stay ahead of user needs
- Identify opportunities for performance, usability, cost, and tooling improvements
- Guide key lifecycle decisions including platform transitions, major updates, and end‑of‑life planning
- Engage with customers and partners (OEMs, module vendors, solution providers, research groups) to gather requirements and translate them into clear specifications
- Build alignment across global, cross‑functional teams; communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Explore new AI opportunities across future hardware platforms, software features, developer workflows, and reference applications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in AI, ML, or edge computing
- Strong technical background in AI/ML, including GenAI (LLMs/LVMs/MLLMs) and traditional models (CNN/RNN/LSTM/U‑Net), with an emphasis on deployment and performance
- Experience with Edge AI toolchains and runtimes (model conversion, quantization, profiling, benchmarking) and a solid understanding of on‑device inference constraints
- Knowledge of NPU/accelerator architectures and SoC integration
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross‑functional projects in international teams
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics for various audiences
- Fluency in English; Italian is a strong plus
- Occasional travel availability for partner meetings, events, and customer visits
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, AI/ML, or related fields
- 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience
- Hands‑on experience with TinyML, microcontrollers, or AI on constrained devices; familiarity with Arduino boards and toolchains
- Experience in the semiconductor industry, NPU roadmaps, or working directly with chip vendors
- Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, ONNX, OpenVINO, PyTorch export pipelines, or embedded inference engines
- Experience with AI in multimedia (vision, audio, video) or hardware–software co‑optimization
- Ability to write or review technical content (model deployment docs, benchmarks, tutorials, reference implementations)
- Open‑source experience and comfort working in community‑driven ecosystems
