The Senior Planner reports to the Programme Director and works inside the Project Management Team.
He/she has the responsibility to build and monitor the Master Plan and the Project Schedule to assure that all activities and detailed schedules made by all other offices involved in the project are consistent with the contractual milestones.
Key responsibilities
in charge of performing the following activities:
- build the Main Project Schedule, verifying its consistency with the contractual requirements;
- Prepare, update and monitor the Master Plan progress, as a Programmatic reference document for all Functions on the basis of the different documents received from other company's departments and/or other OEM/subcontractors/partners involved in the Programme;
- Supporting the Project Director in the analysis of the Project critical paths by identifying mitigation actions and / or by proposing alternative actions.
- Support the technical team in the monitoring of the Engineering planning; Programme
- Monitor the progress of the Programme on the basis of the documents of the suppliers: progress report production, integrated production Programme, workshop detail Programmes with evidence to the Project Manager of deviations from the preventive curves;
- Develop Programmatic simulations on significant topics of the project and/or on the feasibility of strategic choices;
- Collaborate with Functions to develop detailed Programmes and integration between Functions on critical paths.
- Support the PM to manage the Project Phase Review in the different phases of the programme
- Support the BID director to build preliminary Master Plan
- Support the Accounting and Administration manager to elaborate the Project cash-flow on the base of the interim payments and the relevant invoices planning.
Profilo del Candidato
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in planning and project control within structured environments, preferably in Defense, Naval, Energy, Oil & Gas or EPC sector
- Strong track record in planning and managing complex, multidisciplinary projects
- Solid background in maintenance planning, shutdown coordination, and site activities management
- Fluency in English and Italian (both written and spoken)
- Location: Genoa (Italy)
