Job Title: GIGAMEDIA – Business Developer Italy

Location: Italy – Rexel Italy HQ Milano area

We are strengthening the Gigamedia team to support our growth in Italy and expand our position in the datacom and security on Commercial and Datacenter markets. We are therefore looking for an Business Developer Italy to develop Gigamedia activities across the Italian market in close collaboration with Rexel Italia.

Your mission :

As Business Developer Italy, you will be responsible for developing Gigamedia’s commercial activities across Italy, with a strong focus on datacenter infrastructure and structured cabling solutions.

Key responsibilities :

  • Develop and grow Gigamedia sales across the Italian market.
  • Prospect and develop a portfolio of new customers such as datacenter operators, system integrators, end users, engineering firms and relevant partners in Italy.
  • Develop the datacom and datacenter vertical offer by identifying new business opportunities and supporting key infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate closely with Rexel Italia’s datacom specialists, commercial teams, marketing and Gigamedia product managers.
  • Organize your sales activity autonomously and ensure accurate reporting as well as regular feedback regarding customers, projects, market trends and competitors to Commerciale and Purchasing local Team and at Group level.
  • Promote our solutions and services to the sales teams of a network of branches: train, motivate and support them in their commercial activities with professional clients.
  • Animation of the Experience center based in Bergamo (training to customers, other initiatives..)

Qualifiche

  • Commercial and/or technical education.
  • Interest to learn and transfer knowledge about the specific market
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management business in B2B sales within datacom, ICT infrastructure or related technical markets.
  • Experience or strong interest in the datacenter ecosystem is highly appreciated.
  • Strong autonomy, excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset with the ability to identify needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Fluent in Italian. A good command of English is essential. French is nice to have even if not required.
  • Knowledge of the Italian ICT infrastructure or datacenter market is a strong advantage.
  • Analytical skills on commercial data.
  • Availability to travel in Italy ( Rexel Perimeter: Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Lazio) and abroad (Gigamendia HQ for training and sales convention àFrance)
  • Capability to a multilevel approach
