Your role:

As Technical Sales Support Professional, you will be part of Technical Pre-Sales Support Team, as reference for the local Sales Team of North-Center area about Siemens automation products (especially IPCs and software-based automation products).

Your day-to-day activities will include technical support to local sales and customers during the configuration of new machines, to find the best possible solution to their requirements. You’ll be also involved in presentations and training to customers of the North-Center area, to show them technical news and features of Siemens Portfolio and you will work in close collaboration with the regional Siemens headquarter colleagues in Milan, to share meaningful information on products and customer needs.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Being a local technical reference for Siemens automation products under your responsibility
• Provide technical information, training and support to colleagues and customers
• Collaborating with the regional Headquarter colleagues to share local market needs and product information
• Building the best automation solutions and architectures for customers

What makes you a great match:

Core Requirements

• Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science, electronics, automation or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience in industrial automation systems installation and programming
• Passion and curiosity for technical details of the Automation Products (PLC, HMI, SCADA, network devices…)
• Strong orientation to reach the targets and focused on customers, initiative, autonomy and propensity to work in team
• Commitment to knowledge sharing and good communication skills
• Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken
• Available for frequent business national trips and sometimes also international
• Eligibility to work in Italy

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge about Computer Technology, Operating Systems, Networking, IT-like development languages (JavaScript, C#), tools (Visual Studio Code) and processes
• Experience in the usage of generative AI tools

The pay range for this position is 47000€ – 58000€ annually. The actual offer will be determined within this range, based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
