Luxury Living Group is looking for a Store Manager of the first Ralph Lauren Home flagship store in Milan. The Store Manager will be responsible for leading the store team, driving sales performance and ensuring an exceptional luxury client experience across all home categories.

About The Role
The role acts as a brand ambassador, ensuring that the store reflects the highest standards of service, product presentation, hospitality and brand image. The Store Manager develops relationships with private clients, interior designers and architects, while overseeing daily store operations and team performance.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Drive store sales and overall business performance across furniture, home accessories, rugs, wallcovering, fabrics and lighting by analysing performance data and implementing improvement strategies.
  • Translate HQ objectives into clear goals for the team and monitor individual and store performance.
  • Develop relationships with private clients, interior designers, architects and decorators.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support local outreach to the A&D and luxury interiors community.
  • Support clients and designers with product selection, materials, finishes, dimensions and customization options.
  • Promote cross-selling across furniture, home accessories and decorative categories.
  • Provide regular sales reporting, forecasts and pipeline updates.
Client Experience & Clienteling
  • Ensure an excellent luxury client experience throughout the full client journey, from first contact and product selection to quotation, order confirmation, delivery coordination and after-sales follow-up.
  • Foster a client-centric culture, supporting the team in client discovery, loyalty building and clienteling best practices.
  • Ensure accurate CRM usage, client data capture, profiling and follow-up.
  • Guarantee the highest standards of hospitality and service in line with the Ralph Lauren Home brand image.
Store Operations & Brand Standards
  • Ensure the store presentation, visual merchandising and product displays are always aligned with the brand’s luxury standards.
  • Oversee stock accuracy, inventory counts, product care, store maintenance and hospitality standards.
  • Ensure all activities and transactions are managed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Be accountable for health and safety compliance, ensuring the team is properly trained and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Retail teams on events, clienteling initiatives and local activations.
  • Ensure the store is always client-ready for appointments, visits, events and brand moments.
Team Management
  • Manage, lead, motivate and develop the store team.
  • Organize and conduct staff induction programs, trainings, morning briefings and one-to-one meetings to support the team’s growth, engagement and performance.
  • Ensure the team develops strong product knowledge across furniture, materials, finishes, accessories and brand storytelling.
  • Plan staff schedules and ensure appropriate store coverage.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Experience
  • 5–10 years of experience in luxury retail, luxury interiors, furniture, home décor, design or lifestyle brands.
  • Previous store management experience is required.
  • Proven sales track record and strong commercial awareness.
  • Experience managing a team and driving performance.
  • Experience working with private clients, interior designers and architects.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture, materials, finishes, textiles, accessories and interior decoration is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Interior Design, Architecture, Design, Business or related field.

  • Strong sensitivity to luxury, interiors, aesthetics and client experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of retail KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and clienteling mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Responsibility, reliability and proactive attitude.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and CRM tools.

Work Location: Milan (store-based).
Working hours: full time 40 hours/week from Monday to Sunday from 10 AM to 7 PM
Type of contract: open-ended contract.
Salary Range: RAL € 60.000 – € 70.000 + Commission
Ticket Restaurants: 1 for every working day
CCNL: Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.
The salary range stated in this job advertisement reflects an estimated average range for the position. The final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements.
