The resource will act as the liaison between Technical Management and Production, contributing to the analysis, definition, and optimization of processes for the manufacturing of complex mechanical components.

About this vacancy

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting technical feasibility studies, assessing the manufacturability of parts in relation to design constraints, available technologies, and machine tool capabilities.
• Estimating machine time and setup time using standard methodologies such as MTM to ensure accuracy in planning and costing.
• Using CATIA V5 to analyze 3D models, identify critical steps, and propose production-oriented optimizations (DfM).
• Defining the complete work cycle, including machining sequences, flips, clamps, tool selection, cutting parameters, and continuous improvement solutions.
• Coordinating subsequent phases of the production process, such as painting and surface or heat treatments, to ensure consistency and smooth workflow.

What we expect from you

• Knowledge of CAD software, preferably CATIA V5
• Experience in mechanical design and solid knowledge of mechanical processing
• Excellent relational skills and ability to interface with design, production, and quality
• Proficiency in Italian (C1) and English
