Within the Group Reinsurance unit in the Group Head Office we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.
In particular, the selected candidate will be part of the P&C treaty underwriting stream that has the main responsibility to finalize and manage the reinsurance inward treaties. The selected candidate will join a team that closely interacts and collaborate with other Group Functions, Group Business Units, reinsurers and brokers.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Underwrite P&C treaty reinsurance from Group Business Units according to the internal evaluation and the market conditions;
- Identify Group Business Units reinsurance needs and participate in the process of setting up and evaluating new reinsurance solutions, in collaboration with other Group Reinsurance functions
- Manage treaty renewal and administration
- Collaborate with other Group Reinsurance functions to offer advice and guidance on the drafting of new treaty wording, as well as the revision of existing ones
- Evaluate the technical performance of reinsurance treaties in the portfolio and define any corrective actions to maintain profitability
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or currently completing) in Economics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields
- Strong academic background with interest in insurance/reinsurance or P&C topics
- Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel (e.g. pivot tables, basic/advanced formulas)
- Proficient in English and Italian. Other European foreign language such as French, German, Spanish will be considered a plus

What we offer
We offer employment at the IV level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.
Gross annual salary ranging between 39K€ and 49K€. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
