For our R&D Centre, located at AREA Science Park in Trieste, we are looking for a new colleague (f/m) for the Research & Innovation department:

Your main responsibilities:

• Execution of innovation projects in the Food Packaging sector: study of new materials and their implementation on production lines, resolution of packaging-related issues, and support in the development of new products in the field of packaging
• Research and analysis of new and innovative technologies for the production and packaging of products in the gluten-free and medical nutrition sectors
• Collaboration with the technical department in the implementation of new plants or the improvement of existing ones
• Execution of industrial trials at our production facilities or at third-party manufacturers

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Materials Engineering / Management Engineering
• Preferably 3–5 years of experience in the packaging sector within food companies, with knowledge of food technologies and industrial food processing plants
• Ability to work in a team, proactive mindset, motivation to achieve goals, problem-solving skills, and strong project management capabilities
• Flexibility and willingness to travel in Italy and abroad are required
• Fluent English skills; knowledge of German is considered a plus
