Description
The role contributes to the development of brewing units and coffee systems, supporting the design, validation, and industrialization of mechanical and hydraulic solutions for next-generation coffee machines. Working within a multidisciplinary R&D environment, the position participates in the full product development cycle - from early concept definition to prototype validation and industrialization contributing to product performance, reliability, user experience, and technical robustness, with increasing exposure to system-level decisions and cross-functional technical integration over time. The activity is embedded in a structured engineering environment where learning, technical growth, and progressive expansion of responsibility are enabled through direct involvement in complex product development activities.

Your day-to-day activities
- Product Development Support: Contribute to the development of brewing units and subsystems, ensuring integration of mechanical, hydraulic, and thermal solutions to meet performance, quality, and manufacturability targets; support system-level trade-offs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and smooth subsystem integration.
- Testing & Problem Solving: Support lab testing, data analysis, root cause investigations, and validation activities to enable informed decision-making.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to innovative solutions and exploratory development to enhance performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Supplier & Partner Interaction: Support collaboration with suppliers and partners in development, prototyping, industrialization, and production readiness.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- 3–4 years’ experience in product development (mechanical, hydraulic, or industrial), ideally within multidisciplinary projects
- Solid understanding of mechanical/hydraulic design, validation, testing, and technical documentation
- Ability to analyze technical data, apply structured problem solving, and work with a hands-on approach
- Familiarity with CAD tools; data modeling or predictive analysis is a plus
- Strong learning agility and growth mindset, with motivation to develop in complex environments
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across functions
- Proactive, accountable, and results-driven mindset with an ownership attitude
- Comfortable in dynamic contexts, open to innovation and experimentation

- Initial annual gross salary from €45,000
