As Sourcing Professional for Baker Hughes, you will contribute to cross-functional projects as a key team member, ensuring timely achievement of sourcing milestones and business objectives.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Defining, implementing and continuously improving sourcing strategies for the Forgings commodity, ensuring alignment with business objectives, quality requirements, cost competitiveness and supply chain resilience.
• Managing supplier relationships and commodity portfolio activities, including supplier performance, capacity assessment, risk mitigation and long-term development plans.
• Leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, RFQs, should-cost analyses and productivity projects to achieve cost, quality, delivery and inventory targets.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Operations teams to support new product introductions, technical reviews and supplier qualification activities related to forgings.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for process optimization, value engineering, localization and supply base consolidation within the Forgings commodity.
• Handling communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding sourcing strategies, technical requirements, commercial agreements and project execution.
  
  
  

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain or Commodity Management).
• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management or procurement activities, preferably within the Forgings, Machined Components sectors.
• Strong understanding of forging manufacturing processes, raw material markets, cost drivers and supplier capabilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with experience working in cross-functional and global teams.
• Knowledge of supplier quality, risk management and continuous improvement methodologies is considered a plus.

For Italy:The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 31,420.03 To 42,900. "The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay".
